The children of Ms.Park's class have spent their year building strong foundations, both academically and socially. We celebrate our solid beginning with this colorful display of upstate New York oak. Each child has decorated his or her own slab of hardwood with paints, markers and a variety of other materials to produce this one-of-a-kind work of art. The tree trunks are solidly mounted and include hardware to securely hang this priceless piece on any wall of your home. 

The children of Miss Jo Ann and Gigi’s class have created an Impressionist-like painting of P.S. 199 using their fingerprints. The myriad of fingerprints were repeated on paper to form this vibrant painting of the school’s entrance. Our wonderful teacher team made a special imprint on the painting as they do every day in the lives of our children. Each child poured their creativity, humor, love and talent into their painting. This piece is a wonderful reminder of their first grade year and the lucky winner will cherish it for a lifetime.

The children of Ms. Deakin's first grade class have created an heirloom-quality quilt, incorporating their artwork and class poem, "Circle of Friends".  Each child has created a picture showing what friendship means to them, each picture has been incorporated into this beautiful custom made quilt.  The "Circle of Friends" poem has been embroidered onto the quilt, alongside a copy of their class photo. This quilt will serve as a one-of-a-kind memory of the friendships your child has made during first grade at PS-199. The size of the multi-colored quilt is 76" x 87".
